After getting unanimously rejected by the West Hartford Design Review Advisory Committee, The Arapahoe Group has WITHDRAWN THEIR DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION. Therefore there will NOT be a hearing at the Town Council meeting on Tuesday, September 13th.

The developer plans on resubmitting an alternative proposal soon so please stay tuned. Thank you for your support!

Join us at the Public Hearing in asking Town Council to reject the Petition of the Arapahoe Group LLC for Zoning Change for a Mixed-Use Development on Arapahoe Rd, Lasalle Rd and Farmington Ave.

We favor development in West Hartford Center but the proposed condominium project is massively out of scale and puts a dangerous amount of traffic into residential neighborhoods.

Our goal is to work toward a more comprehensive solution to growth opportunities in our town. We favor thoughtful development that balances the needs of the community, safety of the neighborhoods and economic development of the town. To do this we need to avoid development driven solely by developers.

Join us Tuesday, February 7th at 6:00 or 7:30 at the town sponsored Public Forum at West Hartford Town Hall for a town sponsored Public Forum to discuss planning and zoning of West Hartford Center.

This is a very important opportunity for us to engage in a productive discussion with the town to help guide appropriate future development of the Center.

In preparation of the meeting the town has put together a short survey to gather some of your thoughts on the current and future state of the Center.
